Asante Kotoko recorded their third win in the Ghana Premier League after beating Ashanti Gold 1-0 in at the Obuasi Lane Clay Stadium on Monday.
 
Yakubu Mohammed scored the only goal for the Porcupine Warriors to help them snatch an important away win.

The striker connected his header into the net after receiving a cross from Emmanuel Gyamfi in the 64th minute.

Kotoko maintain their second spot on the table with 10 points, same points as Aduana Stars who lie top after 4 match days.

Ashanti Gold are still 8th on the League table with 8 points.

Kotoko will head into their next game against Elmina Sharks with a big boost as they will be looking forward to record their fourth win of the season.
