PPAG Calls On First Lady

The First Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo was visited by the Planned Parenthood Association of Ghana (PPAG), a renowned NGO and a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), and a leading provider of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) Education and Services.

Among the issues that were deliberated upon were the joint initiative that is about to be implemented. In conjunction with the Japanese Organization for International Co-operation in Family Planning (JOICEP), the NGO (PPAG) that has worked enormously and consequently had much experience on the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRN), intends to execute a project within the above stated field of operation, which would be funded by the Government of Japan.

The delegation that paid such a honorary call on the First Lady was led by Kweku Brenu Chairman of IPPF added that the Ghana Health Service is a party that forms a joint part of such project, moreover, they asserted that, vacant positions are currently available for result-oriented and committed individuals with the requisite expertise on the above stated field to apply.

Apparently, the Organization officially quested the support of the office of the first lady to enable them have a maximum support in all aspects where supports are needed to make the goals and objectives of the project a reality.

The First Lady was highly honored to have received such an excellent organization that has good records as far as the execution of philanthropist activities that aim at ensuring both human and economic development is concerned. She accepted them and promised to work together with them to make the project come to fruition.
