Mills Performance Favours NPP

The aspiring New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Chairman for Mfansteman West, Alhaji Jibrine Adams has predicted 70% votes for the party in the 2012 general elections. He said the poor performance of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government is an indication Ghanaians have regretted voting for NDC and will surely vote for NPP to reduce their economic hardships. Alhaji Jibrine made this known in an interview with the Daily Guide newspaper over the weekend at Saltpond. The former Constituency Treasurer further noted that when given the nod as constituency chairman, he would ensure that party supporters who have broken away from NPP due to the internal wrangling will be influenced to come back. Alhaji Jibrine who is also the former Nasara Club chairman in the municipality stated he was approached by some party supporters to contest the seat as they did not want what happened to the party in 2008 to be repeated. The aspirant promised his commitment to ensure peace and unity within NPP adding its defeat in the 2008 general elections was due to elevated division among party members and noted he would do everything possible to ensure the party gets the seat which he toiled for in the 2004 general elections. Speaking at that meeting, Alhaji Jibrine called on President Mills to fix the economy because Ghanaians are suffering.
