President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has been asked to appoint a knowledgeable, hardworking and dedicated person as the Tema Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE).

Mr Stephen Ashietey-Adjei, an Executive Member of the Tema East branch of the National Democratic Congress, popularly known as ‘Moshake’ told the Ghana News Agency in Accra that that the Metropolitan Assembly needed someone who would be a fatherly figure to facilitate development.

He said as an industrial hub there was the need for a highly experienced and very educated person to manage the Metropolis.

Mr Ashietey –Adjei said the interest of the area should go beyond partisan interest.
