A huge manhunt is underway in Germany for a teenage killer who knifed a nine-year-old boy to death - and then posted a video of the murder on the Internet.

The suspect has been identified as Marcel H., 19, a bespectacled martial arts enthusiast who allegedly murdered the youngster in the small town of Herne in the western state of North Rhine-Westphalia.

The body of the child was discovered by police in the cellar of a shared family home in the town shortly after dusk on Monday.
