Kintampo Tragedy: Allotey Jacobs Appeals To Women's AGLOW To Pray For Ghana

Allotey Jacobs has called on the Aglow International Fellowship Ghana to declare a day for prayers for the nation.

Allotey Jacobs implored the women to offer prayers for Ghana because he believes the country is currently in dire condition.

Speaking on Peace FM's 'Kokrokoo' programme, the NDC Central Regional Chairman expressed his premonitions over the fate of the nation stating emphatically that recent happenings in the country are somehow demonic.

Allotey Jacobs was commenting on the Kintampo Waterfalls disaster that occurred on Sunday, March 19.

According to him, the disaster which claimed about 18 lives and left several students seriously injured should not only be attributed to a physical cause but spiritual as well.

Expressing worry over the calamities that have befallen the nation, Allotey Jacobs pleaded with the women prayer group "not to rest because what’s happening is so terrifying. It’s terrible too much. Something is wrong somewhere that we will need to seek the face of God in this country. Something is wrong somewhere. When there are calamities like this, for us as Christians; you’ll know that there’s something wrong somewhere.”
