Fallback On Militants Vigilante Groups – Amass Ghana To Politicians

The office of Amass Ghana has followed with trepidation how some political militants group invaded the premises of Kumasi Circuit Court and freed their member standing trial for assault on the Regional Security Coordinator on April 6, 2017.

The unfolding episodes by Delta Force vigilante group have not only shrink us of our respect for democracy and rule of law but have also pigeon-holed us as outlaws in the eyes of the world.

We wish to state without equivocation that the act was reckless and condemnable, however those political fanatics rallying behind such distasteful acts for the purpose of drawing points should fallback.

We are of the view that, any act that do not conform to the foundation upon which the 1992 constitution and the rule of law was established should be condemned by all, including hierarchies of the ruling NPP and the opposition NDC.

We however welcome positively the explicit censure of these acts by the government and expect that all necessary measures will be taken to coil these actions so as to prevent such repugnant act from reoccurring in the future.

In conclusion, we believe our law enforcement agencies has a huge role to play; thereby cracking the save, irrespective of whose ox is gored. Our security apparatus must not in good conscience be seen engaging it’s self with any form of political dealings in other not to impede their activities.
