Liberty To Receive $12,000 From TP Mazembe

FIFA have directed TP Mazembe to pay Liberty Professionals $12,000 in solidarity of the termination of the contract of defender Richard Kissi Boateng.
 
The left-back was released by the Congolese Club two years after joining the team from the Dansoman-based Club.

Kissi Boateng who signed for TP Mazembe whiles on loan at Berekum Chelsea is currently a free agent.

TP Mazembe are hence expected to pay $12,000 to Liberty in the next 14 working days as part of the clause in the player’s contract.

“Yes, I have forwarded the letter to the Congolese FA which is to be given to TP Mazembe on the decision by FIFA,” the Club’s Ghanaian rep Oduro Sarfo told Peace FM.

“The money is about $12,000 and it must be paid as soon as possible. This was stated in the player’s clause before who moved to TP Mazembe.”

The Ghanaian international spent two years with the African giants where he won the CAF Champions League and two domestic League titles.
