In an exclusive chat with the screen goddess in the confines of her home located at Gbawe, Empress brought to the fore the reason why she entered into the movie industry as well as the new things she intends bring. �I entered into movie through the motivation of my uncle who said I have everything a any good actor should have. But a friend of mine �Esther� whom I accompanied to an audition, really gave me the urge to go into film acting. I played the role of a wife and a campus girl the first time I was auditioned and in fact I did it to the core� Empress outlined. Martha who has acted alongside heavy weights in the Nollywood and Ghallywood industry is a former student of Koforidua Secondary school as well as a beautician. �Acting is my passion and I will surely raise the flag of Ghana high anytime I am called upon� she added. With a couple of movies under her belt, namely my Womb and the Will, Empress says she will go for any role except stripping naked on set. �I believe the trend of Ghanaian movies is moving in the right direction and very soon the likes of Hollywood and Bollywood will be our competitors� she hinted. Comparing Ghallywood and Nollywood and their trend of movies, Empress rightly hit the nail on the head. �I will surely go for Ghanaian movies. We are now better than they are and collaborating with them has been the best since it brings both countries together culturally and economically� she added. Empress has acted with some notable names in the movie industry like Ashly Nwoso, Kofi Adjorlolo, Ngozi Ezienou, Uche Nnana, Yvonne Adja and a whole lot. Picking her best actors and actresses, Empress said she will surely go for Majid Michel, John Dumelo, Nana Ama McBrown and Jackie Appiah but will always love to be paired with John Dumelo.�My fans should watch out for something exquisite and exclusive from me always and they should always continue praying for me and also remember me in their prayers.
