Former President John Mahama has commended workers as the world marks Worker's Day.

In a tweet the former President wrote: "it's Worker's Day. I join my fellow countrymen and women to salute you all, gallant Ghanaian workers"

In Ghana, this year's celebration is on the theme: "Ghana @60: Mobilising for Ghana's future through the creation of decent jobs"
