Former President John Dramani Mahama has asked for God’s blessings for his wife Lordina Mahama and all women as Ghana joins the rest of the world today, Sunday 14 May, to mark Mother’s Day.
“I am celebrating Mami, Lordina and all mothers today. God bless you,” Mr Mahama posted on Facebook.
Meanwhile, First Lady Mrs Rebecca Akufo-Addo has sent her wishes to Ghanaian mothers as the world marks Mother’s Day today, Sunday 14 May.
“Today is Mother’s Day and I salute all mothers and mother figures. Motherhood is a tough job. Mothers never rest. A mother would move heaven and earth for her child. Mothers shape our lives, nurture our talents, and inspire us to achieve greater heights. Every mother deserves to have this special day,” she said in a statement.
