The Ghana Football Association (GFA), on Monday announced the Local Organising Committee for the 2017 West Africa Football Union (WAFU), tournament, to be hosted by Ghana.

Mr. George Afriyie, the Vice President of the GFA, Mr. Francis Assenso, Deputy Chief of Staff have been appointed as co-chairmen of the LOC.

Mr. Fred Crentsil, former Vice President of the GFA, will act as the vice Chairman, whiles Mr. Ashford Tetteh Oku and Alhaji MND Jawula have been named as members of the LOC.

Below are the appointed members of the Local Organising Committee of WAFU tournament:

2. Mr. Francis Asenso - (Co-chairman) - Deputy Chief of Staff
3. Fred Crentsil (Vice Chairman) - Former GFA Vice President

5. Michael Baafi - Freezones Board
6. Nii AMoo Cudjoe
7. Ashford Tetteh Oku - PLB Chairman
8. Osei Tutu Agyeman - RFA Chairman, Ashanti
9. Alhaji MND Jawula

The committee is expected to have its maiden meeting on Tuesday, May 16, 2017.
