Did you know that June 2nd every year is “Leave the Office Early Day“?
If June 2nd calls on a weekend day, Leave Office Early Day then holds on the first Friday of the month of June.
The day is an invention of Laura Stack, and the whole idea is to make employees complete tasks before schedule, making a conscious effort to increase their efficiency and productivity so they can go home sooner.
That being said, if you are an employee, get your boss’ permission to leave as soon as you’ve finished all of your tasks for the day, so you can do whatever you want!
