XCLUSIVE FOTOS: Celebs Mourn The Late Major Maxwell Mahama

Friday June 9, 2017 was indeed a dark day in Ghana as the entire nation was put in a mourning mood to bid a fallen soldier farewell.

Some celebrities who have expressed their various opinions after news of the soldier’s barbaric murder, also joined in the mourning to pay their last respect to the late Major Maxwell Adam Mahama.  

Some of the celebrities spotted at the forecourt of the State House on Friday to pay their last respect to slain Major Maxwell Adam Mahama of the 5th Infantry Battalion (5BN), were; Movie stars Jackie Appiah, Kalsoume Sinare, Akofa Edjeani Asiedu, Emelia Brobbey, Nana Ama McBrown, Roselyn Ngissah, Fred Amugi, Oscar Provencal, President of Ghana Actors Guild-Mr. Samuel Fiscian, Broadcaster Abeiku Santana, Comedian Baba Spirit, Gospel Singer Tagoes Sisters, Highlife Singer Amandziba and others. 

A requiem service was amidst the reading of emotional tributes to the 32-year-old who left behind a 27-year-old widow Barbara Mahama and two children.

Major Mahama’s remains was laid to rest at the Osu Military Cemetery after the burial service, followed by the final funeral rites at the Forecourt of the State House.
