Sheikh Mohammed Kamil Mohammed, Director of Azhariyah Senior High School (SHS), at old Tafo in Kumasi said expansion works at the school was progressing.
He said A Lang Construction Limited, was building classrooms, administrative and library blocks, science laboratories, masters' common room and Information and Communication Technology Centre.
Sheikh Mohammed said these after conducting journalists round to inspect the project.
He said that the project was being funded by Sheik Mohammed Abdulgani, a Saudi Arabia businessman and initial funds were provided by the Jeddah Islamic Bank of Saudi Arabia.
Sheikh Mohammed commended Sheik Abdulgani and the Bank for contributing to the development of education in Ghana.
Mr Mohammed Awal, Chairman of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) of the School, appealed to government to provide the school with infrastructure and football field.
