Sekondi Hasaacas on Sunday beat Aduana Stars 1-0 in a Glo Premier League match played under flood lights at the Sekondi Sports Stadium at Essipong. Aduana Stars attacked upfront at the start of the match and their forward lines were particularly strong on the flanks. Hasaacas gained control as the match gathered momentum but the defence of the visitors prevented them from finding the net until the first half ended. Francis Larbi's header from the goal area of Aduana Stars earned Hasaacas the lone goal in the 70th when the two teams were facing each other headlong after opportunities for goal had been exhausted. The goal attracted wild cheers from Hasaacas, while Aduana Stars looked on unbelievably but they were soon on their feet again and went back into the game with greater determination. Aduana Stars put Hasaacas on their toes during the remaining moments of the match but Hasaacas marshalled forces to level the playing until the match ended.
