The Juliana Antwi Memorial Foundation, a non-governmental organisation (NGO), based in Germany, has initiated projects to improve the living conditions of inmates of All Nations Charity Home, an orphanage at Ayigya in Kumasi.
The project included the provision of potable water, extension of electricity and refurbishing of the boys' dormitory.
Mr Tim Boateng, Executive Director of the Foundation, told GNA at Ayigya that GH�4,650 had been spent on the project.
He said the NGO was also sponsoring the inmates to visit historic sites in the country and had decided to donate clothes to the Home.
Mr Boateng said that the NGO would support the orphanage to celebrate its sixth anniversary.
Reverend Philip Kwasi Nyamekye, Proprietor of the Home, commended the NGO for the support and asked it to sustain the gesture.
