Appiah Cleared for Bologna Debut

Ghana captain Stephen Appiah could make his league debut for Italian side Bologna this weekend with all paperwork completed. The Italian side have now secured Appiah's International Transfer Certificate from the Turkish Football Federation. Appiah signed for the Serie A campaigners last month on a free transfer and is available for Bologna on Sunday when they play his former club Udinese. Bologna is the Ghanaian international's fifth Italian club since moving from Accra in 1997. He made his debut for Udinese in the 1997-98 season before moving to Parma, Brescia and Juventus, where he won the Scudetto.
