Government has announced that state contracts and deals will pass through the Attorney General’s office for approval.

According to the finance minister, the move which will commence next year will help curb corruptions in the Nana Addo-led government.

“The AG will in 2018 operationalize the office to tackle the many cases of corruption that will be brought to it. The office will review contracts/deals by government departments and agencies” he said whiles presenting the 2018 budget in Parliament on Wednesday.
