Japan Motors Staff Undergo Instructor Training On Safety Riding Of Yamaha Motorbikes

In line with a commitment to ensure end users of Yamaha Motorcycles ride with safety, Japan Motors Trading Co. Ltd (JMTC) sole distributors of Yamaha Motorcycles in Ghana have organized a weeklong training for its staff/Technical team on the best secured way of riding Yamaha Motorcycles.

A Technical team from Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd, Japan including: Mr. Yu Hiramatsu of Africa Market Development Division and To Hidenobu, Master Instructor, Yamaha Riding Academy were in the country to give technical training to the Japan Motors team to equip them with knowledge to give to end users of Yamaha Motorcycles.

Speaking to the media on the essence of the training, Mr. Amine Kabbara, General Manager, Sales & Marketing, JMTC described the program as ‘training the Trainer’. “This is another step of our Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA). The instructors from Japan will equip our local instructors with the skills and knowledge to assist the end users of our Yamaha products. Thus knowledge is being shared so Technical Instructors from Japan do not always have to be in the country for training”.

“We hope this will equip our staff and technicians with the skills and confidence to impact on the end user upon purchase” he said.

On her part, Mrs. Mabel Offei, Sales Manager Yamaha, JMTC observed the new dimension in training will bring a sense of relief to customers as “with our own instructors we can even visit the yard of our big fleet customers and organize YRA for them because for us we do not only sell motorcycles but the safety of our customers is our top most priority.

Mr. To Hidenobu, Master Instructor, Yamaha Riding Academy of Yamaha in an interview with the media bemoaned the improper use of motorbikes worldwide and expressed optimism the new dimension in YRA will provide door to door training for customers as “Customer safety is Yamaha’s policy”.

The climax of the training workshop witnessed the launch of three new Yamaha motorcycle models including: the Yamaha AG 125, latest dual-purpose work horse, friendly, tough and economical; the Yamaha Y-CZ 125, active & modern and the Yamaha Crux rev which is acclaimed as the Game changer.
