An 18-year old Kojo Nyamekye, has been caught raping a 90-year old sick woman at Awutu Breku in the Central Region.

The incident which happened on Monday, 11 December 2017 around 10pm, saw the suspect naked on the 90-year old woman having sexual intercourse.

The Grandson of the victim, Joseph Asuman who caught the suspect in the act, indicated that, the family on Monday evening heard the shout of their sick grandmother in her room asking for help, and he being the man rushed to the scene.

Asuman said, “to my surprise, I saw Kojo Nyamekye naked forcibly having sex with her and immediately we called the police to arrest him.”

The suspect is currently remanded in police custody assisting with investigations.
