Ghanaian actress and TV personality, Joselyn Dumas has disclosed a “shocking moment of life” on her TV program “Keeping It Real With Joselyn Dumas”.

The actress who was speaking on the show revealed how she always had thoughts of committing suicide because she had no trusted person she could share her problems with whenever she was at the lowest point in life.

According to her, it is necessary to have someone around for consolation and counselling purposes when one is going through emotional trauma.

“I have had suicidal thoughts because I just could trust anybody to talk to. And I felt that I was at my lowest of my low, I was at my weakest, and I could not rise above it. So, I sit there, and say what if I end it all,” she said.

Joselyn Dumas is a Ghanaian television host and actress. In 2014 she starred in a movie titled “A Northern Affair”, a role that earned her a Ghana Movie Award and an Africa Movie Academy Award nomination for Best Actress.
