Blay Roots For Nana At NPP Confab

Acting National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Freddie Blay, has urged his party members to unite and support President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to rapidly develop the country.

Ghanaians are watching how the Akufo-Addo-led administration would rescue them from the mess created by the previous NDC administration and take them to the promised land, according to him.

In this regard, Mr Blay, who is tipped to become the next NPP National Chairman, stressed the need for the NPP members to fully support the president to succeed.

He said enmity, disunity and backbiting have the potential of preventing the NPP administration from implementing their policies.

Mr Blay, who is admired by NPP delegates for leading the party to capture political power from the NDC in 2016, stressed that the NPP members should remain united at all times in the interest of the party and government.

“I am urging all NPP members to stay united and rally behind Nana Akufo-Addo’s government so that they can work in peace and take the country to the promised land within a short period of time, as the party promised before the 2016 polls.

“Ghanaians are watching, in fact, they are looking up to us to implement pragmatic policies and programmes that will bring massive transformation to their lives and we cannot disappoint them,” the acting NPP National Chairman, said.

Mr. Blay, who has been described by NPP members as a team player, hard-working and visionary, sternly warned that infighting in the NPP could negatively prevent the government from delivering on its promises to the people.

The acting NPP National Chairman, who has united the party members, disclosed this to NPP delegates during the party’s Extraordinary National Conference held in Kumasi on Sunday.

Mr Blay was of the belief that if the NPP members remain united and support the government, President Akufo-Addo would develop the country effectively within a short period of time.
