NPP Will Implement ROPAA And Lose 2020 Just Like We Selected Charlotte - Solomon Nkansah

National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Solomon Nkansah has described their 2016 election defeat as an answer from God.

“We accepted our 2016 election defeat in good faith and as an answer from God because we believe in every reply from him and not like the NPP who will always not accept defeat as an answer from God,” he said.

Speaking on Kasapa FM’s morning political programme, on the Representation of the People Amendment Act also known as the ROPAA law, 2006 [Act 699], Solomon Nkansah challenged President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and members of his party to keep taking steps they feel will make them triumph in the 2020 elections.

“I challenge President Akufo-Addo and his NPP that just like the NDC elected Charlotte Osei and heavily lost the 2016 elections, it will be in the same context that they [NPP] will also introduce ROPAA and lose the 2020 elections,” he said.

Addressing a comment made by Joshua Akamba, Deputy National Organizer of the opposition NDC few days ago that NPP rigged the 2016 elections, Solomon Nkansah rubbished the statement and insisted that “NPP won the 2016 elections fair squarely.”

The Aspiring National Organizer of the NDC noted that his party is not against the ROPAA but their main worry as a political party is the unfair treatment President Akufo-Addo and his government is showing towards members of the Electoral Commission.
