Fans of Van Vicker who have had the opportunity to go through his profile on the internet find it difficult to get the names of Van�s mother and father as well as who his relatives are except his parents origin. From the beginning of this month when reports started making rounds that a guy from Liberia by name Frank Van Vicker was looking for Van with the intention of meeting his blood related brother, many were those who did not believe it until he had Van�s contact from friends. This information got to the Flex newspaper through whistle blowers close to Frank Vicker who lives at Budumburam in Kasoa. Flex reporters gathered that following continuous phone calls between these supposed brothers, Van finally scheduled a meeting to meet him. After meeting his 'brother at an undisclosed joint, swift reporters from Flex got close to him to unravel the proceedings and asked him what transpired - this is what he had to say. �When I met him, I introduced myself to him but he said he will not believe what I am saying because he does not have any brother. I showed him some birth marks and some of the things my Mum told me before my auntie took me to Liberia but he warned me not to call him a brother again� he lamented. �When my mum gave birth to me, she told me that I have one brother called Van Vicker before she left me in the care of my auntie to take me to Liberia. So when I grew up, I decided to come to Ghana to look for him so that is why am here� he told the Flex newspaper. He continued that he told him he is not claiming Joseph Vicker is his brother because he is famous or for opportunities but sometimes in life, if you lose your relatives you need to look for them so that it can help you grow in life. �I have a birth mark and many things on me which shows we are brothers as my mum said�. Given his father�s name as Billy Van Vicker, Frank is also an upcoming artiste who has featured in two movies yet to appear on the Ghanaian market. After, we contacted Van Vicker on phone for his side of the story. He made it known to us that he is on set and that he will appreciate it if we can talk to his manager since his manger knows more about him. Speaking to his manager, he told Flex newspaper that he would not like to discuss Van�s family issue to any journalist, because he does not see that to be so important. �Van Vicker will be coming to Ghana soon so you can meet him and talk to him but not to ask for his father�s name� Van�s manager said. The search is on to at least get the name of Van Vicker�s father who is a Dutch as Frank Vicker claims he died when Van was just six years old. Frank Vicker is 26 years. He added they are from different mothers but the same father. At the moment, the people who can help us get to the bottom of this issue are Frank�s Auntie and mother but information has it that the Auntie is in Liberia whiles his Mum is nowhere to be found on this planet earth.
