“Ayiah On Holidays Not Trials”- Manager

Mr. Samuel Owusu Amoah, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Charity Stars FC, has debunked a story in the media that his player Eric Ayiah, is currently undergoing trials with Portuguese topflight side, FC Porto.

Mr. Amoah noted in an interview with GNA Sports said contrary to rumours that Ayiah was on trials with FC Porto, the player was only in Europe on holidays.

“Ayiah is not in Europe for any move now, because he cannot even sign a professional contract until he turns 18.

“He has made strides in Africa and performed creditably in the just ended Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) Under-17 World Cup in India, so there is no way he would even go for trials.

“So far as my club and the boy is concerned we have not signed any professional contract with any club and we are not on trials with any club, he is on holidays in Europe to experience the weather until a choice is made on which European country he would be plying his trade,” he added.

According to Mr. Amoah his club, Charity Stars FC has an investment partnership in Portugal and there is nothing more to those stories linking his boy to a contract or trials.
