The office of the Communication Director, Asokwa Constituency, has cautioned the general public against some unscrupulous persons using his office’s name and image to extort money from investors.

According to Edmund Kyei, some persons are using his name to execute contracts from potential investors overseas with the office of the Vice-President’s letterhead.

In a statement issued by the NPP man copied to peacefmonline.com; investigation is ongoing to bring the offenders to book.

“I, Edmund Kyei have not in any form endorsed or authorize any person or group of persons to use my office in such oil trade with investors from overseas”, a portion of the statement read.

Adding that, “Investigations are also being carried out by the security operatives of the Ghana Police to uncover all such fraudsters. Perpetrators will be brought to justice swiftly and dealt with accordingly.”
