A Communications team member of the National Democratic Congress [NDC], Alhaji Mohammed Naziru wants ex-President John Mahama to be hailed like a king if President Akufo-Addo and his administration pats themselves on the back and feel Ghanaians should do same for them after commissioning the newly constructed Mother and Baby Unit for the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi.

The Mother and Baby Unit of the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in the Ashanti Regional capital, Kumasi, was commissioned last Friday, January 19, 2018.

“I know and believe for a fact that President Akufo-Addo’s administration is nowhere near the past government led by Ex-President John Dramani Mahama in terms of developmental projects, therefore his ‘man pass man’ comment passed is just what I have explained”, he noted.

Making reference to the recent attacks on security personnel, Alhaji Nasiru indicated that “we need some security heads out of office immediately to close the chapter on our shaky security issues”.

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, he noted that it was absolutely wrong for President Akufo-Addo to say that he who alleges any minister of his government to be corrupt must be ready to prove it.

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during his 2018 first media encounter said, “I have made it publicly known that anyone who has information about acts of corruption against any of my appointees should bring it forward, but must be prepared to back it up with evidence.”

“Try me, produce the evidence to back the allegation and see what the response will be”, he added.

But Alhaji Nasiru wants President Akufo-Addo to show the evidence he had prior to his allegations against the funds used in constructing the Kwame Nkrumah Circle interchange, claiming the contract sum was bloated.
