Let's Run A Decent Campaign—Domnic Eduah Appeals

The ultimate interest of our quest to serve our beloved party is to help consolidate the mandate Ghanaians gracefully gave to us after the 2016 general elections by helping build a vibrant youth wing that understands the need to sustain power and for the NPP to rule Ghana for a long long time.

I strongly believe that each candidate in the race has something good to offer our party and they have done so selflessly in various capacities they have served the party. After the contest there will be no winners or lossers regardless of who wins, NPP will be the winner.

I humbly plead with my fellow patriots, those supporting my bid as well as my fellow contenders that we carry our campaign in the spirit of unity, decency and respect in other not to jeopardize the stability of the youth wing my boss Sammi Awuku and his team spent sleepless nights to build.

I urge my colleague contenders in the National Youth Organiser race to embrace responsible politics aimed at uniting our Youth wing and remain issue based at all times.

The finger pointing, the name calling, the insults, the lies, the denigrating of persons who have shown interest to succeed the *irreplaceable* Sammi Awuku continue unabated. That has to end.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained from the internal recrimination within the NPP except to provide a fertile soil for our opponents to use against us in future.

I call on constituency youth organisers, their deputies and all distinguished delegates of our party to reject any aspirant who directly or indirectly instigates his supporters to preach hate speech, insults and any act that divides us along tribal, regional and religious lines.

There is this disturbing trend on social media especially Facebook where some people have created pseudo accounts like Kobby Change, Kwaku Salassi and many others with a well-rehearsed plan to denigrate my person anytime I go on air to represent the party on any media outlet. That noxious practice must stop.

We owe it to our fellow patriots not to destroy what brings us together in pursuit of our selfish interests. The NPP remains bigger than each one of us and all our actions must be in the interest of the greater good of NPP.

Let us remember that the government is a gift but the party is ours.
