Prez Akufo-Addo Is a Visionary President - Edmund Kyei

NPP’s First Vice Chairman of Asokwa Constituency, Edmund Kyei has lauded Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his “outstanding” leadership as President.

He much-admired the President for delivering on his campaign promises, mostly on job creation - after describing him as a “forward looking President”.

Edmund Kyei in an interview with Peacefmonline.com noted that the previous Mahama administration was clueless on job creation and governance which led to the freezing of public sector employment.

“This resulted in the formation of graduate unemployment associations, a feat of shame no country would expect to bear”, he said.

According to him, graduate unemployment continues to threaten many economies in the world –“It therefore requires visionary leaders to come out with policies and strategies to tackle this social threat and to create space for employment opportunities that Ghana has lacked for its youth over the past decade.”

“With the campaign promise of job creation, President Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo-Addo has launched this job creation initiative to resolve the graduate unemployment. The Nation's Builders Corp is an employment initiative whose main focus is directed at providing jobs both in the public and private sector for over 100,000 graduates in Ghana. Ghanaian youth will acquire jobs and improved skills that will improve their livelihood, and Ghana will be the major beneficiary”, he added.

The NPP’s communication team members was thankful to the President for his initiative to curb the unemployment issues in Ghana - “Nana Akufo-Addo, the Ghanaian youth are grateful to you for this initiative that offers hope for numerous youth that leave our tertiary institutions every year.”
