Aspiring National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye, popularly called Nana B, says he is the most competent among his competitors for the position of National Youth Organizer of their party.

In an interview with the host Kwame Nkrumah Tikese of Okay FM's "Ade Akye Abia" program, he debunked a story making waves that the delegates in Ashanti Region are going to vote for him based on the fact that he is the only Ashanti regional candidate in this year’s national contest.

Setting the records straight, Nana B averred “any time delegates approach me with this issue, even though their plan and thought for me is good, I quickly tell them not to use that as a case. But they should rather cast their vote base on skills, competence; hard working; Vibrant and Youth Advocacy which make me (Nana B) stand tall among the others in contention for the position that is needed to lead the youth front of the NPP.”

“I am not coming to occupy the position of the NPP National Youth Organizer but to sustain the enormous confidence the overwhelming youths put in NPP, our great party, during the leadership of the able Sammy Awuku,” he stressed.

He enumerated the services he has rendered to the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) as he served at the Constituency, Regional and National levels, TESCON level; adding that he was part of the pressure groups that help brought NPP to power in the 2016 elections. Thus, he also served at the tenure of Mustapha Hamid, John Boadu, Anthony Abayifa Karbo and Sammi Awuku.

“I entreat delegates to consider the one who is affable, intelligent and proven he knows what he is about and can lead the youth front to champion their course. The youth front should not be compromise for anything.”

He therefore urged all delegates to consider the credentials about the entire aspirants before any decision is made.

With self-conviction on his overwhelming victory in the upcoming national delegates conference, Nana B said, “Kwame, I believe on the 19th of June 2018, you will be talking to the National Youth Organizer elect of the New Patriotic Party.”

“NPP delegates never get it wrong when choosing their leaders, they don’t make mistake and I know they will toe that same line. The truth is the vast majority of the youth have extreme confidence in me", he assured.
