Asiamah Commends Nana Agyemang Badu II For His Role In Sports Development

Mr Isaac Kwame Asiamah Minister for Youth and Sports has commended Dormaahene Nana Agyemang Badu II, for his continues role in sports development in the Brong Ahafo and Ghana as a whole.

Mr Asiamah made this known when he cut sod for works to begin on a 5,000 seating capacity multi-purpose youth center in the Brong Ahafo region.

According to the Member of Parliament for Atwima Mponua Constituency, Nana Agyemang Badu II, has been a real pillar behind the performance of Aduana Stars in recent times and his feat must be commended.

“I must say I am personally happy and delighted to have someone like Nana Agyemang Badu II, to give his all to the development of sports and football in particular in the country.

“Through his efforts and vision, Aduana stars are the only representatives for Ghana in the ongoing Confederation of African Football (CAF) Confederation Cup competition and it’s not a mere feat since it involves money, time and dedication,” he added.

Mr Asiamah also used the occasion to thank the life patron of the Dormaa based club for releasing acres of lands for the multi-purpose youth center at Dormaa Ahenkro and another one in Sunyani for similar project next year.

The project, which is to be completed within nine months and valued at GHC7Million would have a FIFA standard football pitch, eight lane tartan track, volleyball, handball and basketball court, gym, ICT Center, entrepreneur and counselling center and a modern restaurant to cater for the youth in the Brong Ahafo region as they seek to harness their God given talents.
