Ghanaian journalist and broadcaster, Gifty Anti took to photo sharing platform Instagram to share a photo of herself and young princess Nyame Animuonyam Afia Asaa Afrakoma Sintim-Misa to mark the mothers day celebration.
She wrote a nice piece wishing all mothers a happy mothers day and also showing her gratitude to her daughter for making a proud mother.
This is what she wrote;
Happy Mothers Day to you all
To my dear children, Before the birth of HRH, You made me a mother.
You celebrated me as a mother. You called me Mummy, mum, Mama, Ma and Mother. Today, it gladdens my heart that you still see me as your mother. I do not take this honour for granted at all. It means a lot to me.
It is my prayer, that God gives me the strength, wisdom and the guidance to continue to be a mother to you all. Thank you for your love and trust. I love you all and God bless you. Mother’s Day is a celebration honoring the mother of the family, as well as motherhood, maternal bonds, and the influence of mothers in society. It is celebrated on various days in many parts of the world, most commonly in the months of March or May. It complements similar celebrations honoring family members, such as Father’s Day, Siblings Day, and Grandparents Day.
