Termites Invade Tamale SHS

The Headmaster of Tamale Senior High School (TAMASCO), Alhaji T.A. Mahama has said termites have invaded the western part of the school making teaching and learning uncomfortable. He said some of the ceilings of the classrooms are badly damaged by these termites. They (termites) he said are a threat to them and called for immediate steps to salvage the situation before it gets out of hand. Mr. T.A. Mahama announced this at the schools� 18th Speech and Prize Giving Day in Tamale on Saturday. The Headmaster said the vision of the school was to provide quality education to the students to enable them acquire the requisite qualification into tertiary institutions to become responsible and productive citizens in the country. Touching on infrastructural challenges, Mr Mahama said the school has only one toilet facility at the eastern part for boys; adding that the toilet in the girl�s fence were in a deplorable state. He therefore called on government and other benevolent organisations to come and help construct KVIPs to avoid outbreak of cholera in the school.
