2018 Talented Kidz Finale: Nellisa Fights Eviction With Tears

Hairstylist, Nellisa Atiogbe, could not accept eviction in the grand finale of TV3’s Talented Kids Season 9 held Sunday, May 27, at the National Theater.

She suddenly broke into tears when her name was not mentioned as one of the contestants who qualified for the next stage of the competition. She started by tearing when the host Mariam Osei started mentioning the names,by the time all the qualified contestants had been mentioned she was wailing in resistance.

Mariam could not console her alone, it had to take the intervention of the judges to say a few consolation words to save the situation.

Nellisa Atiogbe, waded through the contest with a rare talent – hair stylist – churning out amazing hairstyles, sometimes taking her audience by surprise.

Though she seemed to have been treading a lonely path considering that she was the only finalist with her kind of talent, she had a bigger task of convincing the judges being a hairstylist is a talent enough to win the competition.

Unfortunately, Nellisa could not live up to that task as she was evicted after the first round together with GH Acrobats, Okadie band and Nana One dancers.

The exit of the evictees left the competition within two rappers, Hakeem Issa and Michael, the Luther King band and Peniel Dodoo the guitarist.

Meanwhile, the season 8 winner of talented kidz, DJ Switch made a guest appearance on the show and thrilled audience.
