"Decency And Respect", That's How Campaigns Are Run - Eduah Replies Abronye DC

Aspiring National Youth Organizer of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dominic Eduah popularly referred "The Field Marshall" has asked his fellow aspirants to carry their campaign in the spirit of Unity, decency and respect.

His comment comes after the first vice chairman of the New patriotic party, Mr. Kwame Baffoe had made some detestable comments against him last Monday 4th June, 2018 on a popular Accra-based radio station.

Abronye DC on Monday, Okay Fm Ade Akye Abia programme, declared his support for Henry Nana Boakye aka Nana B, one of the National Youth Organizer aspirant and charged delegates to ignore the campaign slogan of Dominic Eduah “the job dey grounds”, because NPP are not ready for the job dey ground syndrome in the party, as was the case of Sidi Abubakar of the opposition NDC who campaigned with the same slogan.

In response, Dominic Eduah says, he has taken notice of the attacks on his person and his campaign slogan but is not perturbed.

He rather pleaded with him (Abronye) and his fellow patriots to carry their campaign in the spirit of unity, decency, respect and devoid of insult.

In a statement copied to Peacefmonline.com, he. urged his contenders to embrace responsible politics aimed at uniting the Youth wing.

The ultimate interest of our quest to serve our beloved party is to help consolidate the mandate Ghanaians gracefully gave to us after the 2016 general elections by helping build a vibrant youth wing that understands the need to sustain power and for the NPP to rule Ghana for a long time.

I strongly believe that each candidate in the race has something good to offer our party and they have done so selflessly in various capacities they have served the party. After the contest there will be no winners or losers regardless of who wins, NPP will be the winner.

I have taken notice of the attacks on my person and my campaign slogan #TheJobDeyGrounds by my good friend and brother Kwame Baffoe aka Abronye DC in his bid to gunner support for his preferred candidate, on various radio stations in the last twenty-four hours.

I humbly plead with my fellow patriots, those supporting my bid as well as my fellow contenders that we carry our campaign in the spirit of unity, decency and respect in order not to jeopardize the stability of the youth wing my boss Sammi Awuku and his team spent sleepless nights to build.

I urge my colleague contenders in the National Youth Organiser race to embrace responsible politics aimed at uniting our Youth wing and remain issue based at all times.

The finger pointing, the name calling, the insults, the lies, the denigrating of persons who have shown interest to succeed Sammi Awuku.

There is absolutely nothing to be gained from the internal recrimination within the NPP except to provide a fertile soil for our opponents.

We owe it to our fellow patriots not to destroy what brings us together in pursuit of our selfish interest. The NPP remains bigger than each one of us and all our actions must be in the interest of the greater good of NPP for the government is a gift but the party is ours.
