Kwesi Nyantakyi Is Not A "Thief"! - Kwesi Pratt Chides Ghanaians

Kwesi Pratt, Managing Editor of the Insight newspaper, has called on Ghanaians to stop giving verdict on the corruption scandal involving the embattled GFA President, Kwesi Nyantakyi.

According to him, no person has the right to find Kwesi Nyantakyi guilty of any misconduct in spite of watching him in the compromising investigative video by Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

Kwesi Nyantakyi is under investigations by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) for his involvement in a bribery and corruption scandal, following an exposé by Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team, that has hit the country.

Following the exposé, FIFA has provisionally banned Kwesi Nyantakyi with immediate efect for a duration of 90 days.

The duration of the ban may be extended for an additional period not exceeding 45 days.

During this time, Mr. Nyantakyi is banned from all football activities at both national and international levels (administrative, sports or any other) according to FIFA.

However speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Kwesi Pratt noted that it is only the court that will be the final arbiter and its verdict will hold but "until proven guilty by a competent court, he’s not a thief".
