Slay Queen and Actress, Rosemond Brown aka Akuapem Poloo has apologized to musician Medikal for accusing him of making attempts to rape her.

The Ghanaian slay queen who is "all over the place" made a video, directing her caustic words to the musician where she stated emphatically that Medikal - the boyfriend of Deborah Vanessa - has been flirting with her and tried to pounce on her to have sex with her.

According to her, she refused to allow herself to be used to satisfy the libido of the rapper but warned him to stay clear off her and stay with his girlfriend, Sister Debbie as she's affectionately called.

In the video, Rosemond Brown is heard cautioning Medikal to be loyal to Sister Debbie because she won't be a soft nut to crack in the musician's quest for sex.

Rosemond Brown has however refuted the claims she made in her video during an interview on Neat FM's "Entertainment Ghana" on Monday, June 11.

Responding to the comments she made against Medikal, Miss Brown explained that as she's known for doing videos off-the-cuff; she woke up some day and decided to make one for Medikal.

She disclosed to host of the programme that she met Medikal in a pre-party to the Ghana Meets Naija concert this year, which was held at SOHO Bar and struck a conversation with the musician.

It was there that, according to her, the musician expressed his admiration for her and his liking for the videos she makes on her Instagram. Just as Medikal was admiring the slay queen of the Century, she informed him that she will dedicate a video to Medikal.

“Oh, Rosemond Brown; I’ve been watching your videos each and every day, five times a day before I sleep. And I said oh really. And I told him that I will give him a video" she quoted from their conversation, adding that Medikal is "aware that I will do a video for him but he didn’t know what I was going to say in the video…So, I said that I don’t love you, Medikal. I beg you to stay with Sister Deborah. If I hadn’t gone out of SOHO, you would have raped me”.

Akuapem Poloo further said that she doesn't "think" before doing her videos and so without forethought recorded herself accusing Medikal of attempting to rape her at SOHO bar where they met prior to the Ghana Meets Naija which came off over the weekend at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair in Accra.

She stated that she was only joking and didn't mean her words, that everything she claimed Medikal did or attempted to do was mere rhetoric and untrue.

“I just stand up and do the video, and I do a trending one. I can be with you right now and when I do it, you would think I am mad” she noted.

To her, "it is just a joke and he knows that it is a joke. And I informed him before doing the video" and so is asking Ghanaians to ignore her claims.
