I Don’t Demand Money For Favours, Beware Of Fraudsters – Zanetor Rawlings

The Office of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Klottey Korle Constituency, has cautioned the public to be wary of fraudsters impersonating Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings.

In a statement posted on her official Facebook page on Wednesday, 20 June 2018, Ms Agyeman-Rawlings said it has come to the attention of her office that “some unscrupulous persons are going about claiming to be associates of Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, demanding various sums of money from unsuspecting well-wishers under the guise of ‘assisting’ them in various issues”.

Individuals who have been victims of such acts have also been advised to report to the police for necessary action.

It has come to the attention of this Office that some unscrupulous persons are going about, claiming to be associates of the Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, demanding various sums of money from unsuspecting well-wishers under the guise of ‘assisting’ them in various issues.

These fraudsters are using fake Facebook accounts and other modes of communication to perpetrate their fraud.

This Office would like to state for the record that;
1. Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings does not demand money from anyone to offer them opportunities.

2. Staff of the office of Dr. Agyeman-Rawlings are not authorized and do not to collect monies from any person, in return for any form of support or favour.

Please note that any persons who have been victims of such criminal behavior are encouraged to contact the appropriate authorities to have the issue investigated.

We find it rather unfortunate that there are some within our society who continue to misuse and abuse the image of hardworking and law-abiding Ghanaians to misinform and extort money from members of the public.

Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings distances herself from such behaviour and encourages the public to report any such persons to the law enforcement agencies.
