Amissah-Arthur Was An "Affable Gentleman . . . He's Served His Nation Well" - Kwesi Pratt

Seasoned journalist Kwesi Pratt Jnr. has paid glowing tribute to the late Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, Paa Kwesi Amissah-Arthur.

The Vice President passed on to glory at the 37 Military Hospital Friday morning.

He was rushed to the hospital after he reportedly collapsed during a workout session at the Air Force Gym and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.

Speaking on Peace FM's Kokrokoo, Kwesi Pratt recounted the caliber of person the late Vice President was before his untimely demise.

According to him, Mr. Amissah-Arthur served the nation well and was very down to earth even after the previous Mahama government was voted out of power.

He further told host Nana Yaw Kesseh about some memorial moments where the former Vice President didn't use any official escorts but would drive himself through town.

To Kwesi Pratt, Mr. Amissah-Arthur was "such an affable gentleman . . . He’s served his nation well".

He expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.
