Paul Asare Ansah Donates To Asuogyaman Mosques

Mr. Paul Asare Ansah former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority has donated a public address system in addition to an unspecified amount to the Central mosque of Akosombo in Asuogyaman District in the Eastern Region to help facilitate their outdoor and outreach programmes.

Mr. Asare Ansah made the donation when he joined members of the Muslim Communities in the District for their Friday’s Jummah Prayers at Akosombo.

This follows an earlier gesture where a total of GHC 100,000 was spent on providing extra classes, paying for the mock exams and buying maths sets for about 1,800 JHS candidates who just took their BECE exams.

Mr Ansah also provided transport for those who had to commute between their schools and exams centres and funded the second quiz competition for all SHS Schools in Asuogyaman. He further promised to sponsor the prospectus of any candidate who would score aggregate 6 to 10 throughout the district.

Speaking at the Donation, Hon. Asare Ansah appealed to the Muslims community in the District to support the sitting government as the government works to achieve all its promises made in their 2016 manifesto.

Mr. Ansah has also given about 50 students in the district scholarship to further their education in various fields of study.
He has therefore appealed to parents to invest in their wards education and not waste money on clothes since their success depends on their wards education.

Currently Mr. Ansah is leading a group of donors to build a new office complex for the New Patriotic Party in the Asuogyaman Constituency as the party prepares to wrestle the parliamentary seat from the NDC in the 2020 general elections.
