Nana B Fetes GADA D/A Basic School On His Birthday With Hon Hawa Koomson (Photos)

The National Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B) in a memorable gesture , spent time with the Pupils of GADA D/A BASIC SCHOOL in Awutu Senya East constituency on his birthday, Thursday, 26th July, 2018.

Nana B donated hundreds of school uniforms, assorted drinks and an undisclosed amount of money purposefully for the procurement of desk and other important learning materials for the school.

On a colorful day which doubled as “Our Day” - a day marked for dining and entertainment by pupils to end the academic year - Nana B admonished the pupils to take their academics serious and strive to become future leaders who will take the socio-economic development of the country to appreciable heights.

“Teachers play a critical role in shaping the moral integrity and enhancing the academic performance of pupils and the wonderful teachers we have here in Gada Basic school must see these children not just as the future of our Country but a vital component of our Nation's transformational agenda. They should continue to sacrifice their time and energy on the alter of love to teach and mentor them and would be amazed at the results of their sacrifices in the near future '' Nana B added.

On her part, the Member Of Parliament for Awutu Senya East Constituency, Hon. Koomson Hawa Mavis said, plans were far advanced for the construction of a JHS block for the School. She reiterated government’s commitment to affordable, accessible and quality education at all levels.

According to Hon. Hawa Koomson, government will expedite the process for the timely execution of the project.

Nana B visited the school in the company of Hon. Koomson Hawa Mavis (MP, Ewutu Senya East and Minister of State in charge of special initiatives, Nana Appiah (MD, state Housing Corporation), Hon Micheal Mensah ( MCE, Awutu Senya East), Anthony Sackey (Central Regional youth organizer), Micheal Osei Boateng (Brong-Ahafo Regional youth organizer) and some constituency youth organizers.

Nana B was celebrating his birthday in the same month he was elected National Youth Organizer of the NPP. He has outlined a number of programs in showing gratitude to God for his mercies in his birth month.
