A Disciplined Nation Has Better Chance To Succeed - Ameer

Alhaji Maulvi Mohammed Bin Salih, the Ameer and Missionary in charge of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Ghana, has called for discipline in all spheres of life, saying “a disciplined nation have a much better chance of getting success than the indiscipline ones.”

The Ameer said citizens of a disciplined nation are fortified enough to avoid wrong influences, feel loved, secured and protects her citizens from all physical and moral dangers.

The Ameer said this in a sermon to celebrate the Eid-Ul-Adha, a commemoration of the joint and collaborative sacrifice carried out by the Prophet Abraham and His wife Hajira as well as his son Ismail.

He expressed concerns about how some Army officers and Police officers, responsible under oath to defend and protect the sanctity and dignity of the country, and maintain law and order, are themselves embroiled in utter daylight symbols of undisciplined and abhorrent intra anarchy.

“When activists of a political order, in a form of vigilante groups cause havoc, which they claim to have been earned by virtue of their being a wing of a political party and other unhealthy practices, will lead the country into becoming a full blown undisciplined nation”, he added.
“It was true that nations that attained success in their nationhood were those who traversed the path of self-sacrifice in all areas of their lives.

“God demands and accepts total sacrifice of all that was near and dear to us-our material possessions, the ideals that are so dear to us, our honour and life itself. God wants and demands no offering from us in the form of flesh and blood of animals but the offering of our hearts”, he added.

Ameer Bin Salih said the spirit and reality of discipline in Islam stated that every individual member of a society must take rules, regulations and conventions of laws that were related to both the individual and the society.

“Order is found in everything around us, from the largest bodies of the universe to the minutest thing called atom. The structure of the universe is the best guide for all of us and we should learn about life as well as the causes and reasons for the stability and success of the universe".

He called on the government to discard the wrong notion that by earning the displeasure of a section of one’s own party, even for just and high moral reasons, may end up with the party losing an election.

The Ameer urged, all especially Muslims to live a worthy life and lead the crusade to emulate the example of the sacrifices of Abraham, Hajira and Ismail to succeed in all our endeavours.
The Ameer and the congregation prayed for peace and unity for the country and across the world.
