A 33-year old level 100 student of the Pentecost University College, Samuel Akpa, has allegedly committed suicide at the �Israel Park� near Sowutuom, a suburb of Accra. Peace FM�s reporter Kwame Frimpong spoke with 26-year old Bernice Amaleka who introduced herself as the girlfriend of the deceased. According to her, she had a verbal altercation with the deceased barely three days ago over a phone call she received from a �Roman Father�. Describing her relationship with the �Father�, Bernice said, �I�m an orphan who has lived in a Catholic mission orphanage and this has brought me closer to the Catholic father who for his kindness has been taking care of her,� she disclosed. But she claims despite her best to explain issues to her fianc�, Samuel Akpa, he would not listen. According to Bernice Amaleka who is a caterer, and has been supporting Samuel with his school fees, at around 5am today, Monday 11th January, Samuel informed her he was going to commit suicide by hanging. �I followed him but could not trace his whereabouts until i heard the shocking news,� she said. Though the two lovers were not married, they were living together and were planning to tie the nuptial knot in the very near future. More to follow�..
