Former NDC Member of Parliament [MP] for Techiman South constituency in the Brong Ahafo Region, Mr. Adjei Mensah has emphatically stated that the NDC’s presidential race is a one sided competition, as rivalry candidates are already aware.

To him, Ex-president John Dramani Mahama is the right and real candidate to lead the NDC in the upcoming elections.

“All I want to mean is that the other presidential aspirants contesting ex-president John Dramani Mahama on the flagbearership position are just coming in to escort him [Dramani Mahama]and make his victory a success and memorable one, because the race is a one-way sided traffic,” he proudly explained.

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ panel discussion programme, Mr. Adjei Mensah added that even though the party will not discourage or prevent other aspirants from contesting the qualified candidate [John Dramani Mahama] as a democrat party, but they wouldn’t have come in to contest him should they understand times and seasons in politics.

“Candidates contesting John Dramani Mahama for NDC’s flagbearership position do not understand times and seasons in politics, because they would have back off and not dream of competing him should they understand times and seasons in politics,” he said.
