Charlton Will Not Send Dickson Out On Loan

Charlton Athletic do not plan to send Ghana international Chris Dickson out on loan again this season.Addicks manager, Phil Parkinson believes the striker can play a big role in their campaign. Dickson scored four goals in 14 appearances during a loan spell with League One rivals Bristol Rovers earlier in the campaign and has been linked with a return to the Memorial Stadium. Gillingham, where the Ghana international impressed on loan in 2007, have also been tipped to mount a bid for the forward. However, after he featured in Charlton's last two matches, Dickson is now in contention to play an important role for Parkinson's side in the coming months. The Addicks boss said: "He's an improved player who can play a big part for us until the end of the season. "We could have called him back at any time from his loan at Bristol Rovers but decided against it."
