Unknown community members have stabbed a man believed to be in his early 20s to death at Nkurakan a suburb of Koforidua in the Eastern Region.
The dastardly act happened last Wednesday.
Sources indicated that the suspect, whose name was given as Prince was a mechanic apprentice at Koforidua magazine.
He was seen early Wednesday morning lying dead in a pool of blood with knife stack in his chest at Okornya Nkurakan in the Yilo Krobo municipality.
Information available indicated that Prince was suspected to be among some group of young men who were arrested sometime ago at the magazine for stealing but was later granted bail.
“We believe he is among those who robbed a shop at magazine last Tuesday night, and while fleeing to Nkurakan he met his untimely death,” a resident said.
