The General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Mr. Asiedu Nketia, has been cautioned by the Ashanti Regional Chairman of the New Patriotic Party to cease his attacks on the NPP; else they would rescind their decision of giving him financial support ahead of the NDC’s national executive elections.

Mr. Bernard Antwi-Boasiako revealed on Okay FM that ahead of the 2016 general elections, they entered an agreement with the NDC scribe and paid him huge sums of money to ensure he gave them every needed information concerning former president Mahama’s campaign strategy.

“Asiedu Nketia knows what I am talking about. He has only two options thus to either shut up and do his work just like we have worked with him in the past or prepare to loose his position as General Secretary in the  upcoming NDC executive  elections”, Antwi-Boasiako also known as Chairman Wontumi had to say to him.

The General Secretary of the NDC Johnson Asiedu Nketia, officially declared his intention to seek re-election at the party’s National Delegates Congress on December 7, 2018.

Mr. Asiedu Nketia, who is the current NDC General Secretary announced his intention at a press conference to outline the party’s programme for the election of a flagbearer for Election 2020.

However, if he doesn’t tone down on the NPP, Chairman Wontumi promises they will stop funding and expose him.
