"NDC Had No Message In 2016” - Spio-Garbrah

Former Minister for Trade and Industry, Dr Ekwow Spio-Garbrah says his party lost the 2016 presidential election because it had no message for the electorates.

“NDC had no message in 2016. I met some NDC communicators in Ashanti Region and I asked them what NDC’s message was in 2016 and all they remember was Onaapo, edey bee k3k3,” Spio-Garbrah said in an interview with Adom FM.

The presidential hopeful bemoans his party’s failure to deliver what he termed as an ‘election winning message’ to the voters.

The former Minister of Communications lauded the NPP for their “solid message” that won them the 2016 election – and maintained that 'edey bee k3k3' caused the NDC’s embarrassing defeat.

Spio-Garbrah has however promised to campaign on a solid message if given the nod to lead the NDC in the 2020 election.

He said the NDC grassroots lacked information, but he is ready to reveal to them why John Mahama must be rejected.
