MP For Ahafo Ano South-East Accounts For His Stewardship

The Member of Parliament for Ahafo Ano South-East Constituency in the Ashanti Region has begun a constituency-wide stewardship account tour in the constituency on Tuesday, 23rd October 2018.

Hon. Francis Manu-Adabor begun the tour at Sabronum and its traditional area where he used the opportunity to account to the constituents the numerous projects and programmes he has undertaken since ascending the parliamentary seat of the area.

On health, Hon. Francis Manu-Adabor stated that he is building two CHPS compound at Bokuruwa, Aponaponso with the National Health Insurance Fund. He has assured that the two projects will be completed when the next tranche of the fund is released before the year ends.

From the same fund, Hon. Francis Manu-Adabor revealed that renovation works have been done at Sabronum, Pokukrom, Esienkyem, Adukrom and Biemso No 2 health centres, all in the Ahafo Ano South Constituency.

Touching on the Education sector, Hon. Francis Manu-Adabor revealed that he is paying for the school fees of hundred (100) students at the Sabronum Methodists Senior High School alongside over Hundred (100) scholarships for students in the secondary and tertiary sector across the constituency.

All these are alongside the building of educational infrastructure across the constituency.

In the area of Electricity, Hon. Francis Manu-Adabor stated that so far, only sixteen (16) communities are yet to be covered. Even these sixteen communities have been approved by the Ministry of Energy and erection of electric poles in those communities will soon begin. Hon. Francis Manu-Adabor assured that the entire constituency will see electricity before 2020.

He capitalised on the opportunity to educate parents on the free Senior High School policy and encouraged parents to ensure that their children benefit from the policy. 

Hon. Adabor appealed to Government to  upgrade the Sabronum clinic to a hospital status since Sabronum  is the biggest and most populated town in the District.

The constituency-wide tour begun on Tuesday, 23rd October 2018 at Sabronum.

Also on the tour was the District Chief Executive, Hon. Joseph Agyeman Dapaah.

The District Chef Executive used the opportunity to assure the Nananom that he and the MP will do everything within their means to ensure that the area is developed.
